Tančí se v civilu - bude vám stačit pohodlné volnější oblečení. Dámy mohou mít ideálně delší sukni, pánové pohodlné kalhoty. Obuv je nejlepší na ploché podrážce, nebo jen s velmi nízkým, širším podpatkem. Prosíme také všechny dámy, aby si přibalily tmavý šátek na krk nebo uvázanou pánskou kravatu. Občerstvení je k dispozici k zakoupení dole v pivovarské hospodě.
A ještě jedna důležitá věc: přijďte, ať už máte tanečního partnera, či ne. Anglické tance jsou společenské, partneři se neustále střídají, takže dojde úplně na všechny.
Příspěvek ve výši 200,- Kč je na pokrytí nákladů za sál, vybírá se na místě.

For all enthusiasts from Brno and the surrounding area who are wish for more frequent dancing in an informal atmosphere and also newcomers interested in an introduction to the basics of English country dances, we offer informal monthly dance evenings.
Dance evenings take place on a Tuesday around the middle of the month.
At 6:00 p.m., we go over the basic elements, steps, and figures for all newcomers, and we start dancing at 6:30 p.m. Check the main page for current dates.
No need to register in advance; you can come and bring your friends who might be shy about going to a ball but would like to try dancing.
We dance in everyday plain clothes — comfortable, loose-fitting clothing will suffice. Ladies may ideally wear a longer skirt, and gentlemen should wear comfortable trousers. Flat-soled shoes or shoes with very low, wide heels are best. We also ask all ladies to bring a dark scarf or a men's tie to tie around their necks. Refreshments are available for purchase downstairs in the brewery pub.
And one more important thing: come regardless if you have a dance partner or not. English country dances are very social, partners are constantly changing, so everyone gets a turn.
A contribution of CZK 200 is collected on site to cover the rent of the hall.
